Lucia McBath is the mother of Jordan Davis, who was shot and killed November 23, 2012, at a gas station in Jacksonville, Fla., during an argument over loud music. The shooter used Florida’s dangerous "Stand Your Ground" law as his defense. In an October 2014 retrial, the shooter was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison. McBath is a national spokeswoman for Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, for which she is also the Faith and Outreach Community Organizer.
