Divided Families: Responding with Faith

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Every day, families across America are separated by deportation. Immigration reform is not just about individual lives sent away, but also about the lives of children and spouses who remain behind. What happens when a family member has to leave? This group is for anyone who wants to speak honestly about how to provide divided families with dignity, opportunity, support, and hope. We are especially interested in the role that persons of faith, and faith communities, can play in this civic dialogue. This session includes viewing a selection from the documentary Divided Families: Responding with Faith, produced by the Chicago Sunday Evening Club, followed by discussion.
