Working, Still Poor, and What People of Faith Can Do About It

This workshop will give participants stories and hard facts about the harsh reality that low-wage workers face each day in the "richest country in the world." We will include topics such as wage theft, minimum wage, and health and safety to highlight the ways in which the workers are not treated fairly. As people of faith, we are called to be our bother's and sister's keepers and to take action in the face of such oppression. This workshop will provide tools to use for advocacy and organizing into action.
