This 2015 documentary features journalists, government officials, community activists, faith leaders, and researchers who are working to help understand the root causes and long-term effects of violence in Chicago. Those living with the daily threat of violence not only struggle to survive physically but also to find words to begin to describe their situation and lead to healing. This film highlights faith communities working to reduce violence across the Chicago area and calls congregations to action at the neighborhood level to bring about positive change.
