Building Bridges: Secular and Religious Communities Working Together to Prevent Domestic Violence

Intimate-partner violence is a global public health crisis that affects millions of people each year, but research shows that individuals do not feel the issue is relevant in their lives or see how they can make a difference. How can secular and faith-based communities collaborate to change the conditions that perpetuate domestic violence? Through participants' input, this session—led by Saving Promise—will focus on developing effective messaging and prevention strategies to engage both the faith community and the broader society in ending intimate-partner violence.
