The Living Wage v. Poverty

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session will lift up voices from business, labor, and government around the issue of a livable wage. Moderated by Sojourners board chair Adam Taylor, it will feature Arne Sorenson, President and CEO of Marriott International; representatives from the Coalition of Immokalee Workers; Liz Shuler, Secretary-Treasurer of the AFL-CIO; and Marian Wright Edelman, founder and president of the Children's Defense Fund. How can partnerships be established that result in better living standards for workers? What is the responsibility of management? What role should government play?
